zbazi Responsible Gaming Features

zbazi provides a comprehensive set of responsible gaming tools that put you firmly in the driver's seat. Whether you want to set spending boundaries or take a complete break, these features are available directly through your account settings.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum amount you can deposit into your zbazi account on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Once a limit is set it takes effect immediately, and any request to increase it is subject to a mandatory 7-day cooling-off period.

Self-Exclusion

Voluntarily block yourself from accessing zbazi for a defined period — from 30 days up to permanent exclusion. During self-exclusion, your account is suspended and all promotional communications are stopped immediately.

Time-Out Period

Need a short break without a full self-exclusion? zbazi's time-out feature lets you pause your account for 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days, or up to 30 days. Your account is fully restored at the end of the period without any action needed.

Reality Check Reminders

Enable session-length notifications that remind you how long you have been playing. zbazi will pop up an alert at your chosen interval — every 30, 60, or 90 minutes — so you can take stock of your activity and decide whether to continue.

Loss Limits

Set a cap on the net amount you are willing to lose within a given timeframe. Once you reach your loss limit zbazi will automatically prevent further betting activity until the period resets, helping you avoid chasing losses.

Activity Statements

Request a full statement of your gaming history — deposits, withdrawals, bets placed, wins, losses, and net position — for any period. Reviewing your activity regularly is one of the most effective ways to stay informed and in control.

18+

Strict 18+ Age Policy — No Exceptions

zbazi is strictly for adults aged 18 and above. Playing, betting, or depositing on zbazi by anyone under the age of 18 is absolutely prohibited. We verify the age of all players during account registration and reserve the right to conduct additional verification checks at any time. Any account found to belong to a person under the age of 18 will be permanently closed and all funds will be handled in accordance with our Terms & Conditions. Parents and guardians are encouraged to use parental control software to prevent minors from accessing gambling platforms.

1 Our Commitment to Safe Gaming

zbazi believes that gambling should be an entertaining leisure activity — nothing more, nothing less. For the vast majority of our players across Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Khulna, Rajshahi, and every corner of Bangladesh, betting on cricket, spinning slots, or playing live casino games is a fun way to add excitement to their day. zbazi is committed to making sure it stays that way.

Our responsible gaming programme is built on three core principles: prevention, protection, and support. We invest in tools that prevent problematic patterns before they develop, we protect vulnerable players through proactive account monitoring, and we provide clear pathways to support for anyone who needs it. These are not optional extras — they are integral to how zbazi operates.

zbazi's support team is trained to identify and respond to signs of problem gambling. If our monitoring systems detect unusual patterns in a player's account — such as a sudden increase in deposit frequency, extended late-night sessions, or repeated attempts to exceed set limits — our team may proactively reach out to offer guidance and remind that player of the responsible gaming tools available to them.

Responsible gaming at zbazi is not just a policy document — it is an active, ongoing programme backed by real tools, trained staff, and a genuine commitment to player welfare. If you ever feel that your gambling is becoming less enjoyable and more compulsive, please use the tools described on this page or contact our support team immediately.

2 Age Restriction & Verification

The minimum age to use zbazi is 18 years old. This policy is non-negotiable and applies to all features of the platform including free-play, deposits, withdrawals, bonuses, and live betting. zbazi strictly complies with international responsible gambling standards that prohibit access by minors.

How We Verify Age

All players are required to confirm that they are 18 or older during the registration process. In addition to this declaration, zbazi carries out Know Your Customer (KYC) verification checks that require players to submit valid proof of identity and age. Acceptable documents include:

  • National Identity Card (NID) — issued by the Bangladesh Election Commission
  • Valid Bangladeshi passport
  • Driver's licence with date of birth clearly visible
  • Birth certificate (in conjunction with another photo ID)

Accounts that cannot be verified as belonging to a person aged 18 or over will be suspended and any pending withdrawal requests will be placed on hold pending investigation.

Protecting Minors

zbazi strongly encourages all parents and guardians to take proactive steps to prevent underage access to gambling platforms. If you share a device with a minor, consider using parental control and content filtering tools. Several free and reputable solutions are available that can block access to gambling websites on shared devices. Please ensure your zbazi login credentials are never accessible to anyone under the age of 18.

If you suspect that a minor has opened or accessed a zbazi account, please report it immediately to [email protected]. We will investigate and act promptly. Never share your account credentials, payment details, or device access with a person under 18.

3 Deposit Limits

Deposit limits are one of the most effective responsible gaming tools available to zbazi players. By setting a defined ceiling on how much you can add to your account within a given timeframe, you create a built-in safeguard against spending more than you intended or can comfortably afford.

How to Set a Deposit Limit

  1. 1 Log in to your zbazi account and navigate to the Responsible Gaming section of your account settings.
  2. 2 Select Deposit Limits from the menu.
  3. 3 Choose your preferred timeframe: Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
  4. 4 Enter your limit amount in BDT (Bangladeshi Taka, ৳). The limit must be a positive integer.
  5. 5 Confirm your new limit. It takes effect immediately on the same session.

Changing or Removing a Deposit Limit

Reducing your deposit limit takes effect immediately — zbazi applies downward changes with no waiting period because reducing a limit is a protective action. However, increasing or removing a deposit limit is subject to a mandatory 7-day cooling-off period before the change becomes active. This delay is intentional: it gives you time to reconsider whether increasing your limit is genuinely what you want, and it protects against impulsive decisions made in the heat of the moment.

Deposit limits apply across all payment methods linked to your zbazi account — including bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay, and bank transfers. You cannot bypass a deposit limit by switching payment methods. The limit is applied at the account level.

4 Self-Exclusion Tools

Self-exclusion is a formal request to block your own access to zbazi for a defined period. It is one of the strongest responsible gaming tools available and is designed for players who feel their gambling is becoming difficult to control and who want to stop entirely for a while — or permanently.

Available Self-Exclusion Periods

  • 30 days — short-term break to reassess your relationship with gambling
  • 90 days — medium-term exclusion for more significant recovery periods
  • 6 months — extended break recommended for players showing signs of problem gambling
  • 12 months — long-term exclusion with a full 12-month cooling-off period before reinstatement
  • Permanent / Indefinite — no time limit; the account is closed indefinitely and cannot be reopened

What Happens During Self-Exclusion

Once your self-exclusion request is confirmed by zbazi:

  • Your account is immediately suspended and you cannot log in
  • All marketing and promotional emails, SMS, and in-platform notifications are stopped immediately
  • Any pending bets at the time of exclusion will be settled according to normal rules and any winnings or remaining balance will be returned to you via your registered payment method
  • You will not be able to create a new zbazi account using the same identity documents during the exclusion period
  • zbazi will make every effort to ensure no new account is opened by you during your exclusion, including checking identity documents against the exclusion register

Requesting Self-Exclusion

You can request self-exclusion directly through your account settings under the Responsible Gaming section, or by contacting our support team at [email protected] with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request". When contacting support, please state your preferred exclusion period. Your request will be processed within 24 hours and we will send you an email confirmation when your exclusion is active.

Self-exclusion is a serious commitment and we honour it with the same seriousness. Once activated, a self-exclusion cannot be reversed or shortened during the chosen period. We strongly advise any player considering self-exclusion to also seek support from a professional counselling service — gambling addiction is a recognised condition and professional help is available.

5 Time-Out & Reality Checks

Time-Out Feature

The time-out feature is a lighter alternative to self-exclusion, designed for players who want a short, structured break without permanently closing their account. It is ideal if you feel you have been playing more than usual recently, if you are going through a stressful period, or if you simply want to reset your habits.

zbazi offers the following time-out durations:

  • 24 hours — overnight or single-day break
  • 48 hours — weekend break or two-day reset
  • 7 days — one-week pause
  • 30 days — one-month break (at the end of 30 days your account automatically reactivates)

Unlike self-exclusion, a time-out does not require contact with support — you can activate it directly in your account settings. However, like self-exclusion, it cannot be shortened once activated. When the time-out period ends, your account is restored automatically and you will receive a notification.

Reality Check Reminders

Reality check notifications are periodic on-screen messages that appear during your gaming session to remind you how long you have been playing and how much you have wagered or won/lost during that session. These are not restrictions — they are gentle nudges that encourage you to pause and make a conscious decision about whether to continue.

You can set reality check reminders to appear every 30 minutes, 60 minutes, or 90 minutes. When a reminder appears, you will have the option to continue your session, review your account statement, or log out. Enabling reality checks is entirely voluntary but strongly recommended, especially for players who enjoy longer sessions of slots, live casino, or cricket betting on zbazi.

Research in responsible gambling consistently shows that regular reality-check prompts significantly reduce the likelihood of a player losing track of time or money during extended gaming sessions. zbazi encourages all players, not just those who feel at risk, to set a reality check interval as a healthy default habit.

6 Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Gambling becomes a problem when it stops being a leisure activity and starts to negatively affect other areas of your life — your finances, your relationships, your work, or your mental health. Problem gambling can develop gradually and is not always obvious, even to the person experiencing it.

The following are common warning signs that gambling may have become or be becoming a problem. If you recognise several of these in yourself or someone you know, please read Section 8 on how to get help.

Chasing losses — continuing to bet in an attempt to recover money already lost
Spending beyond your means — gambling with money intended for rent, food, bills, or family expenses
Inability to stop — feeling unable to stop playing even when you want to or when you have resolved to quit
Lying about gambling — concealing how much you gamble or how much you have lost from family or friends
Borrowing money to gamble — taking loans, borrowing from family, or using credit to fund gambling activity
Gambling to escape — using gambling as a way to cope with stress, anxiety, depression, or personal problems
Neglecting responsibilities — missing work, study, or family obligations because of time spent gambling
Increased risk-taking — placing larger and larger bets to feel the same level of excitement as before

7 Self-Assessment Guide

The following questions are adapted from widely used responsible gambling screening tools. They are intended to help you reflect honestly on your relationship with gambling. There are no right or wrong answers — this is a private self-check for your own benefit.

If you answer "Yes" to three or more of the following questions, zbazi strongly encourages you to make use of our self-exclusion or time-out tools and to consider reaching out to a professional support service.

1 Have you ever bet more than you could comfortably afford to lose?
Consider whether your betting amounts are genuinely within your disposable income or whether they have begun to encroach on essential household or personal finances.
2 Have you ever needed to gamble with increasing amounts of money to feel the same level of excitement?
This is a sign of tolerance — a recognised early indicator of compulsive gambling behaviour similar to patterns seen in other forms of addiction.
3 Have you ever tried to stop, cut back, or control your gambling and been unsuccessful?
Difficulty stopping despite wanting to is one of the clearest signs that gambling may have moved beyond a recreational activity for you.
4 Have you ever gambled to escape problems, relieve boredom, or improve your mood?
Using gambling as a coping mechanism can quickly create a dependency where gambling becomes linked to emotional regulation rather than entertainment.
5 After losing money, have you ever returned soon after to try to win it back?
Chasing losses is one of the most commonly reported behaviours in problem gambling and significantly increases both the financial and psychological harm of gambling.
6 Has gambling ever caused significant problems with your family, friends, employer, or finances?
When gambling begins to affect your relationships and life responsibilities outside the platform, it is a strong signal that immediate action — such as self-exclusion and professional support — should be considered.
Recognising that gambling might be affecting your life is a courageous first step. zbazi is here to support you with the tools and information you need. You do not have to face this alone — please read Section 8 below and reach out for help today.

External Support Resources

zbazi strongly encourages any player who feels their gambling is out of control to seek guidance from a professional counselling or support service. Problem gambling is a recognised psychological condition and effective treatment and support is available. The following types of services can help:

  • Mental health helplines — Bangladesh has a growing network of mental health support lines operated by organisations such as Kaan Pete Roi and Moner Bondhu, which offer confidential counselling services by phone and online.
  • General counselling services — many non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in Dhaka, Chittagong, and other major cities offer free or low-cost confidential counselling for behavioural and financial problems.
  • Financial counselling — if gambling has created debt or financial difficulties, speaking with a certified financial counsellor can help you create a plan to stabilise your situation.
  • Family and community support — trusted family members, community leaders, or religious advisors can also be a valuable first point of contact if you are not yet ready to seek professional help.

Tips for Healthier Gambling Habits

Even if you do not currently feel that gambling is a problem for you, adopting the following habits from the start will help ensure it stays that way:

  • Always set a budget before you start playing and stick to it regardless of outcome
  • Treat gambling as entertainment with a cost, not as an income source or investment
  • Never gamble when you are tired, stressed, emotionally upset, or under the influence of alcohol or substances
  • Take regular breaks and step away from the screen during longer sessions
  • Keep track of your time and money spent using zbazi's activity statements
  • Balance your gambling activity with other leisure activities and social engagement
  • Never borrow money to fund gambling — only bet what you already have and can afford to lose
  • If you ever feel the urge to chase a loss, log out immediately and take a break before returning
zbazi's responsible gaming tools work best when used proactively — before gambling becomes a concern rather than after. We encourage every player to explore the Responsible Gaming section of their account settings and configure at least a deposit limit and a reality check reminder as a sensible baseline from day one.
